Rebel and Eve's Summer Afternoon coconut wax candle is hand poured in small batches using a luxury coconut wax blend and high quality phthalate and paraben free fragrance oils. The scent notes are lemongrass, rose blossom, and sandalwood. They are poured into beautiful matte black jars with wood lids, and we use lead free cotton wicks for safe burning. After burning your candle, the jars can be cleaned with alcohol and repurposed as home decor to hold pens, plants, or random marbles that you find around the house and have no idea where they came from.
Not sure which size to get? Here is a useful guide to help you decide:
6 oz - perfect for scrolling mindlessly in the bathroom because that’s the only “me time” you get, and eating chocolate hidden in the closet from your kids. Are they…can they see me in the door crack?
8 oz / 10 oz - perfect for keeping your cool during the 4th zoom call that could have been an email in your home office while you watch your toddler draw on the wall but can’t stop them, or wishing Netflix wouldn’t judge you for watching the third season in a row still laying in bed. Like, I’ve seen Encanto 100 times in 4 days, let me binge my true crime in peace.
13 oz - perfect for hiding that weird smell in the living room when company comes over that probably doesn’t exist, but just in case. Are they going to assume there’s a weird smell because I lit a candle and think I’m hiding something? The ultimate conundrum. It’s the dogs breath, light the candle.
Properly caring for your candles and wax melts is important for your safety and success. Please follow these guidelines for the best experience:
-Only burn candles for 4 hours at a time
-Trim wicks to 1/4" before each light. If your flame gets too high, put out the candle and trim the wick before relighting.
-Keep all Rebel and Eve products away from children and pets
-Do not use near open windows, near drafts, or near curtans or flammable objects
-Never leave your candles or wax melts unattended
-Never put water on your candle to put out. Safe ways to put your candle out are to put the lid back on the top and dipping the wick into the wax to extinguish the flame. Do not blow the flames toward fabrics or flammable objects.
